The leaders and volunteers of Friendship Alliance Youth Ministry are committed to partnering with families to see their children become committed followers of Jesus Christ. We believe that the most effective way to accomplish this is by focusing on teaching the Word of God, encouraging fellowship in both formal and informal settings, and by giving youth opportunities to serve others both locally and internationally.
Our youth ministry offers three opportunities for instruction:
- Sunday School classes are available for both junior and senior high students every Sunday at 9:30am, studying books of the Bible in depth. (Congregational worship follows in the sanctuary at 10:45.)
- On Sunday evening (6-8pm), the youth group (grades 6-12) meets in a casual atmosphere to explore modern life according to Biblical principles.
- A mid-week Bible Study called Weekly Rap is also offered for high school students (grades 9-12) on Wednesday nights, 7-9pm at the Mager residence. It’s an opportunity for students to share their opinions, concerns and interpretations in an open discussion format.
In addition to our weekly meetings, we offer multiple opportunities for growth and fellowship throughout the year in the form of weekend conferences, retreats, concerts, mission trips and outreach events.
We welcome feedback and involvement from parents of youth attending our meetings and also are available for one-on-one meetings with families as needed.
In His Service,
Mike & Nicole Mager
